Almost 1 million people in the UK have been diagnosed with dementia, with the majority due to Alzheimer's Disease. A recent study, shows that 14 modifiable risk factors account for 45% of worldwide dementia's. This study convincingly showed that certain lifestyle choices can significantly increase the risk of dementia. Many of these risk factors involve activation of our immune system.
Using our giant snakes and ladder game you will learn about modifiable factors that can increase your risk of dementia and what you can do to maintain a healthy brain into older age. We hope to contribute to a healthier communities and healthier bodies and brains.
