Drawing, as a means for self-expression and sharing experience, is a central part of what makes us human. Examples of its use for storytelling or recording information are some of the earliest indications of our evolution into modern humans. Over millennia, those ancient marks, themselves, evolved into systems of writing. Today, those systems and the worlds they describe are the building blocks of AI models capable of generating stories of their own. This workshop tries to see how those stories might align with the world we know and the way we see it as humans.

In this hands-on activity, you can test your own perceptual skills alongside the interpretive power of AI. In collaboration with a human partner and an AI one, you will look, describe, draw and generate images. Surprising results and thought-provoking discussions guaranteed!
