Did you know the Solent is a vital habitat for marine species? Seahorses, starfish, seabirds, and many more rely on our local coastline.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is working with ten partners on an ambitious project to restore four key habitats across the Solent: seagrass, saltmarsh, coastal bird habitats, and native oyster beds. This pioneering initiative is called the Solent Seascape Project.
Visit our stand to learn about these habitats and the incredible marine creatures that depend on them. Explore unique specimens and interactive displays highlighting the threats these habitats face-including a saltmarsh simulation and an "anchor in seagrass" demonstration.
Don't miss the chance to discover how you can help us protect the Solent's precious marine environment!
