THIS EVENT REQUIRES ADDITIONAL BOOKING
Do you want to discover one of the most powerful and safe ways scientists and doctors have developed and use to look inside materials, plants, insects, animals, and indeed the human body?During this activity you will be watching a live magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) experiment learning about instrumentation and methodologies used and seeing the amazing images it produces.
MRI is used as a painless routine exam that doctors use to look inside people to diagnose a variety of illnesses. It is also abundantly used in research laboratories around the world to study properties of materials, plants, animals and many more.
Join the Magnetic Resonance Group to help out their little "patients" and help the team provide a diagnosis for them!
