IMAGE COPYRIGHT Future Scientists | Photobooth
At this interactive photobooth, the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering want you - our "future scientists" - to enjoy dressing in lab coats and goggles, and exploring the tools of our trade. From test tubes to molecular models, hard-hats to beakers and test-tubes, our playful props will help you to imagine how many different kinds of chemical scientist you could grow up to be.
Step into the shoes of a chemical scientist-or at least their lab coat - from research scientists, medicinal chemists and crystallographers to data scientists, polymer chemists, materials scientists and chemical engineers, speak with the volunteers throughout the Chemistry Zone and find out about the different careers that scientists can have.
We encourage you to picture yourself in these roles, think about what it would be like to be a chemical scientist, and discover how science connects to the world around you - and we would love you to share your photos with us!
