Self-stabilising inverted pendulum
This demonstrator, brought to you by the Dynamics Group within the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, shows how we can use a feedback controller to stabilise an inverted pendulum. This is a very challenging control problem, since the inverted pendulum is unstable and falls over without a controller.
