Join researchers turned comedians for a night filled with laughers!
March is a time for sudden rain showers, blossoming trees and flowering plants according to the British Council website, so join us for our monthly dose of science-themed stand-up comedy, stories, and silliness from some of Southampton's funniest and nerdiest people!
This month our guest is the "naturally hilarious" (Edfringe review) JAMES TRICKEY, an up and coming comedian with a sharp mind and unique perspective on life resulting in a combination of silly gags and hysterical stories.
"Magnificent... Such well developed writing skills" - Chortle magazine.
Come and hear him as he is joined on stage by new comedians from the University of Southampton, showing off the funny side of their lives as researchers and educators.
LOCATION: October Books, 189 Portswood Rd, Southampton (SO17 2NF)
Times: Doors open at 7PM, with the show starting at 7:30PM.
Others: The venue is unlicensed, so Bring Your Own Bottles (BYOB), but it's also a bookshop so come prepared to Buy Your Own Books! Have a browse, have a bevvy and have a laugh.
