Folding Space - paper sculpture for books and exhibition making.
Inspired by the Folding Space: Japanese & UK Artists' Book exhibition at The Winchester Gallery until 28th March, The Winchester Gallery Team - Louise Siddons and Will Woods will facilitate an informal hands-on workshop. Part 1: Learn some simple paper techniques for bookmaking. Part 2: Extend these techniques to make new paper objects (real or imagined) to display in a miniature exhibition space.
See how paper can be used as building blocks for books, sculptures and art. You can then experiment in our miniature gallery space, transforming your objects using digital photography on your own mobile phone.
